On my radar again lately is The Mommyheads. As their site proudly states, they are “the greatest band you’ve never heard of.” A reasonable assertion. I, however, saw them live, several times, in the early 90′s! Some great records take longer to gain recognition than others. And by now, The Mommyheads’ “Flying Suit” is regarded as one of the best indie rock records of the 90′s. One listen to “Worm” explains why.
